To Call the Doctor Out of Hours

out of hoursWhen we are closed we pay Camidoc to assist you with medical emergencies. To call a doctor out of hours you can telephone our normal number and a recorded message will recite the Camidoc number for you. For your information the Camidoc number is 020 7388 5800.

Your details will be noted and a doctor will telephone you back. You will be given advice over the telephone, invited to the base site or the Doctor may call at your home.

Please remember that this service is for urgent medical conditions that you feel cannot wait until we reopen. Please only call 999 for the ambulance service if your situation is urgent and absolutely cannot wait.


NHS Direct

This is a free 24-hour nurse led telephone service that provides confidential health care, advice and information. The telephone number is 0845 4647. www.nhsdirect.co.uk


Accident & Emergency

The closest A&E Department is at University College Hospital, Grafton Way, WC1. They are open 24 hours a day and treat serious injuries and major illnesses. 


Minor Injuries Units

These are specialist units designed to treat minor injuries and problems. Waiting times will usually be shorter than in an A&E department.
